Gurbaksh Chahal Purchases a Penthouse for $6.9 million

Not many people with a fear of heights would consider buying a penthouse in a 37-story high- rise on San Francisco’s waterfront. However, Gurbaksh Chahal , who, flipped his online-advertising startup to Yahoo for $300 million— recently purchased a penthouse for $6.9 million in San Francisco.

Gurbaksh Chahal is accustomed to risk. That’s how the 25 years old Indian American raised in San Jose built an Internet fortune for himself, and he is not going to stop taking chances any time soon. Although, Chahal can live anywhere, he prefers “San Francisco” for its cosmopolitan air, the business opportunities, and its proximity to his family.
